Getting to Beacon

We know a lot of out-of-towners will be joining us, so let's make this simple!

JFK, LGA, and Newark are all the closest nearby major airports (they are all equidistant from Beacon). From the airport it might be easiest to rent a car, but other options are listed below! 

From either La Guardia or JFK, take the NYC Airporter to Grand Central ($18). From Grand Central Terminal, take a Poughkeepsie-bound Metro- North train on the Hudson line to Beacon (NOT Beacon Falls!) The train is about 80 minutes and is $16.75 one-way ($22.00 during peak hours). Buy a ticket before boarding, otherwise tickets purchased on board incur an additional fee. From the train station, call an Uber/Lyft (not many in the area so be patient) or a local cab company:

From Newark Airport, take the airport tram to the NJ Transit/Amtrak train station. Take an Amtrak train from Newark Liberty International Airport to either Croton-On-Harmon or Poughkeepsie, and switch to a Metro-North train heading to Beacon. From the train station, call an Uber/Lyft (not many in the area so be patient) or a local cab company:
